I had admitted my father who is 86 years old for an illness. He was in this hospital for nearly a month. Hospital has a very good team of Doctors and Nurses. Specially the nursing staff is very patient, caring and highly responsive. Whenever we rang the bell, they are immediately there and extended all care that is needed. Overall hospital is very clean. Cost is reasonable.
Probably this is the only hospital in the middle of the city with ample parking space as well.

I have undergone Hernia surgery in SCS hospital recently. The service by all the staff is excellent.
Right from the reception counter I got very good service in various tests like scanning, ultrasound, xray etc. Nurses and post operative staff are also good. One sister by name Shanti was very nice in post operative ward.
The nurses and house keeping service also good
My special thanks to Dr HarischandraB, surgeon,Dr Venugopal, Physician,Dr Padmanabha Bhat,Anaesthesist and entire team of surgery.
Billing and insurance was also done within normal period.
One more thing I want to mention is about the hospital canteen.The quality of food in the canteen is also good and healthy. I have seen some other hospitals canteen in Mangalore where the quality of food is not good.
But this canteen is good and patient food is also available in reasonable price.
I thank and appreciate the management for good administration.

My 1 year old child was admitted here in this hospital, to keep it short … Every hospital management should come to SCS and learn how to run a medical institution . Nowadays medical is become a business and there no mercy when it come to the patient and there family !! Truly grateful how my child was treated and how politely the staff handled us when we were angry, worried and at time shouted at them !! From the patient registration process to discharge all went perfectly smoothly and they even refunded my balance from deposit I paid earlier during admission!! Price is very reasonable and affordable for the common man !! God bless the management and staff at SCS now my child is well and happy !!

I went to scs hospital on june 24 with various gastric related issues, i had these issues since 5-6 years and as local doctor asked to meet gastroenterologist went here, I met dr. chandrashekara sorake(had bit fear when i enter to hospital if they do wanted tests). After initial tests i doctor suggested me to have colonoscopy immediately, and for that admitted for a day as pre-procedure for it, now am in treatement based on the results(came out as IBD), am after 15 days medication am lot lot better, i had health issues since 6 years, consulted several doctors/hospitals spent alot, but none of them able to find out root issue/proper treatment, Now coming back to hospital, this is one of the best hospital in mangalore, i never seen any doctors like mr. chandrashekar sorake, i.e. calm, polite, even in his busy schedule he is spending enough time for each patient to listening properly(i have seen many doctors in my past experience most of them did not had even time too to listen), hospital facility(neat and clean)/all staffs are very friendly, Highly recommended to who are looking for good gastroenterologist.
